'Maths in Action’

CHIMiRA are the Cambridge Hub for Innovative Mathematics in Research and Applications. Partnering with industry and other academic departments, they co-create solutions to some of the world’s most complex problems. They want to see mathematics in action, for the good of people and planet.

They are passionate about solving complex problems with cutting-edge mathematics. With a resource of 300+ Cambridge University mathematicians to tap into, they can find the right expertise to tackle any kind of maths problem.

Incorporating the lead mathematician’s favourite equations, we vibe coded a tool that could use these equations to generate a series of interactive, animating patterns. These patterns can be exported out from pattern generation tool as animations or static SVG files for use as backgrounds and patterns in communications and on their website.
