Cadmus are an ed-tech platform providing end-to-end assessment solutions for universities across Australia, UK and US. Assessment delivered well can have a profound impact on the results of students and makes the lives of educators easier. They elevate assessment for both teachers and students through their comprehensive and smart product.

We worked collaboratively with the Cadmus team over a 9 month period, transforming all aspects of their brand including strategy, identity, digital design, website, social, communications and events. Uplifting Assessment.

The refreshed brand, with its sophisticated and holistic aesthetic, comes closer to the visual cues of the universities who use the platform. The quill logo has been refined and now moves with flourish. The colour palette uses rich tones, colour picked from renaissance era paintings, a time when education thrived. The illustrations pick up on this theme, showing modern day students wrestling with assessment topics – illuminated by hand.

The Cadmus team are a lot of fun. We wanted their joy and enthusiasm for education to translate into the work so we made play part of the process. We got messy in Miro, frantic in figma and funky in photoshop. Then we sketched, sculpted and systematised the brand – connecting continuously via Slack, Zoom and real life too. We worked side-by-side with their team to form the strategy, craft the identity, design the website and build the foundations for their future digital experience. The brand and platform now represent an uplifting experience for educators, students and the universities who use their platform and we look forward to seeing where they go next.

Working with LoveWork has been a genuinely effective and rewarding collaboration.
