We were absolutely delighted to receive a Merit for Design Effectiveness, Brand Strategy & Communication for our work with Tranch.
This year’s AGDA Awards were hosted on the Gold Coast. We loved catching up with dear friends (Rick!) and were delighted to meet new ones too. A highlight was discussing a shared love of creating with the incredible Tony Lunn who was inducted into the AGDA Hall of Fame.

This year we were delighted to join a panel of judges; Marc Harrison from Husque, Furniture Designer, Alex Lotersztain and Digital Design Lead Matt Neal from Liquid. Graduates from all 5 design disciplines presented their major project in a pitch battle. We were delighted to share some Lovework merch with each presenter who took the stage and shared their ideas and craft.
This year we’re super proud to have been called out as finalists in Brand Strategy and Communication for the Impact that the Tranch branding has had on the growth and opportunities for them, Branding, Large Business and Motion Branding for the work on the Griffith University brand; Branding, Large Business and Corporate Identity, Logos and Trademarks for Wonderbly!

Wonderbly’s branding captures the joy of books. The publisher’s brand refresh draws inspiration from the “powerfully emotional experience” of giving someone a personalised book.
We’re absolutely delighted that the Griffith University brand refresh has been named a finalist in the Large Brand Identity category.
Publisher Wonderbly rebrands with a more impactful logo for its book covers. Since 2012, Wonderbly has carved a name for itself in personalised publishing. Now, Lovework simplifies its crown logo and makes it more “attractive and visible”.
New Logo and Identity for Wonderbly by Lovework Studio. We positioned the brand around these moments of connection with a warm tone of voice, colourful visual language and close photography that shared the expressions of families and friends when they give or receive a Wonderbly book for the first time.
We popped into Wonderbly office to meet in person while we were in London. Delighted to have a cup of tea in these bold mugs! Lots of lovely chatter. We love their work.
In June, at Darwin College, Cambridge University we spent a day at the Making Visual Art/Work in the AI Era event. Robyn was on the panel and Campbell presented some work (Human Inspired of course!).
The full team gathered in sunny Queensland in early June 2023 for The Design Conference. Was wonderful to be inspired and hang out with friends old and new! We chatted to the legends at Australian Design Radio (more on that soon...) and did an Instagram Live with Nick over at Higher Ground.
